At SCIGNALS, we develop neurotechnology for the real world. We create hardware and software solutions using artificial intelligence, neuromonitoring and advanced biomedical signal processing tools to help health and neuroscience professionals.Discover Our Company
Brain Robot Interfaces
A neurorehabilitation approach combining robot-assisted active physical therapy and traditional Brain-Computer Interface systems (BCIs), providing significant advances over conventional rehabilitation methods for patients with severe motor impairment due to cerebrovascular brain damage (e.g., stroke).
Devices oriented to the evaluation of the integrity of the sensory, motor and cognitive pathways in a non-invasive, continuous, easy and fast way to interpret, and with a reasonable economic cost.
Recent advances in neuroscience technologies have paved the way to innovative applications that cognitively augment and enhance humans in a variety of contexts, including the areas of communication, cognitive enhancement, memory, attention monitoring/enhancement, situation awareness and complex problem solving.
To achieve these goals, we are currently working on different projects:
a brain-computer interface system for interaction with neurorehabilitation robots, developed at the Laboratory of New Technologies for Neurorehabilitation (Madrid, Spain), joining forces with the San José Institute Foundation, belonging to the Order of San Juan de Dios, and the company iDRhA, a spin-off of the [NeuroBioengineering group](“bio.umh.es “) of the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (Alicante, Spain).
a low-cost, open-source, Arduino-based biological signal acquisition system (view our store)
a wearable sleep modulation device to enhance intellectual performance. Partially financed by IVACE and the EU, through FEDER fundsOur projects
