Neurotechnology at Europe’s robotics gathering
Scignals took part as an exhibitor in the European Robotics Forum 2020 (ERF 2020), held in Málaga from 3 to 5 March. The event brought together companies, researchers and robotics professionals from across Europe to share developments and explore applications and collaborations.
Our participation brought two complementary areas of work to the forum: brain-robot interfaces for neurorehabilitation and biomedical signal acquisition tools.
Scignabot and Signalino
We presented Scignabot, our work on brain-computer interfaces for interacting with neurorehabilitation robots. This work connects the recording and processing of brain activity with assistive and rehabilitation devices, in collaboration with Fundación Instituto San José and iDRhA.
We also exhibited the Signalino 8 bioamplifier and the open-source and open-hardware projects developed around Signalino. Signal acquisition is a fundamental part of researching these interfaces and making their development accessible in different working environments.
The forum offered an opportunity to present our technology, exchange ideas with professionals in the field and explore potential collaborations on new products and European research projects.
